Bias Methods Training Event 2012
This year's event was held in March, for more information with regards to upcoming methods training events, please contact the Methods Coordinator, Jackie Chandler: jchandler@cochrane.org
Slides from this year's event are available at: http://bmg.cochrane.org/archived-slides
Each year, as part of The Cochrane Collaboration’s training strategy, an advanced training event is held for methodologists and others involved in supporting Cochrane authors. These events address a priority area of Cochrane methods, including instruction in new developments and discussion of the provision and cascading of support to authors, editorial base staff and trainers.
In 2012 the event will be hosted by the Cochrane Bias Methods Group, and will be held from 22-23 March at Loughborough University, UK, in conjunction with the 17th Annual meeting of UK and Ireland-based contributors.
For more information, please contact the Bias Methods Group coordinator, Lucy Turner, lturner@ohri.ca.
Who should attend?
Methodologists, methods editors, trainers and experienced authors are eligible to attend. The event aims to establish a network of individuals representing each Cochrane entity with experience in assessing risk of bias in Cochrane reviews and an interest in providing peer support and possibly training within their local Cochrane communities.
