Protocols for Cochrane DTA Reviews

This lesson is part of an introductory series developed by Cochrane Screening & Diagnostic Test Methods Group to support authors in the production of DTA reviews. A full list of currently available or planned lessons is available here.

Development of the protocol follows once the objectives and the eligibility criteria for a Cochrane DTA Review have been defined. This lesson explains why it is important to have a protocol for a systematic review. It also describes the elements of the Cochrane DTA Protocol and its structure in the RevMan software. Finally, a list of common errors in writing a protocol is provided.
