PRISMA-S is a new tool that provides guidance for reporting literature searches for maximum transparency and reproducibility. Based on an extensive process of international consensus building, it provides guidance, examples, and evidence for reporting searches. In this Cochrane Learning Live & Information Retrieval Methods Group webinar, we'll briefly introduce PRISMA-S and how to use it effectively, with an emphasis on important changes between PRISMA 2009 and PRISMA-S.
This webinar is aimed for authors and information specialists conducting, documenting, or reporting searches and information retrieval methods as part of systematic reviews or related review types.
Melissa L. Rethlefsen is the lead author of the new PRISMA-S reporting guideline. Her primary research interest is examining the reproducibility of systematic review searches, with special emphasis on librarian/information specialist contributions.
