Data collection forms for intervention reviews

Description

Once you’ve decided which studies to include in your review, it’s time to start collecting the data from the studies.

This resource provides you with two data collection forms that can be used as guides or templates for developing your own data extraction form. Sections can be expanded and added, and irrelevant sections can be removed. It is difficult to design a single form that meets the needs of all reviews, so it is important to consider carefully the information you need to collect, and design your form accordingly.

The first data collection form in this resource is designed for randomised controlled trials only. The other one can be used for both randomised and non-randomised trials.

After using this resource, you should be able to...
