This workshop, organised by Cochrane Germany, is aimed at all those who work with, or who are interested in diagnostic studies in the area of clinical medicine and healthcare. It offers an introduction to the methodology of systematic reviews of diagnostic test accuracy (SRDTAs). In addition, it provides an insight into different study designs, diagnostic parameters and biases. Through interactive presentations and hands-on exercises, participants will be learning about topics such as systematic literature search and critical appraisal of diagnostic studies. They will also learn to create evidence profiles (GRADE method) and to formulate diagnostic recommendations.
