Co-publication of Cochrane Reviews in journals other than Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews (CDSR) is sometimes pursued with the aim of achieving the widest possible dissemination and impact of review findings. However, co-publication can be a sensitive issue and therefore the Cochrane Editorial Unit has prepared detailed instructions on how to co-publish a Cochrane Review.
