Qualitative evidence syntheses (systematic reviews of qualitative studies) are increasingly being carried out to synthesise the findings of individual qualitative studies. GRADE-CERQual is an approach to assess the confidence in a body of evidence from qualitative studies and facilitates the use of qualitative evidence as a basis for decision-making. This workshop is aimed at qualitative researchers and users of qualitative evidence syntheses with experience in the application of qualitative research methods and /or methods of qualitative evidence synthesis. Through interactive lectures and exercises GRADE-CERQual will be introduced and relevant components for the assessment of the confidence in qualitative findings will be explained and applied.
