Could large language models and/or AI-based automation tools assist the screening process?

In this session, part of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) methods in evidence synthesis series, the presenter will give an overview on the background and existing literature on different Machine Learning (ML) approaches versus Large Language Models (LLM) approaches in screening. 

This session is aimed at anyone interested in screening studies.

 


 


Presenter Bio

Dr. Siw Waffenschmidt: Since 2008 Siw Waffenschmidt, sport science doctorate, has been working as an Information Specialist at the Institute for Quality and Efficiency in Health Care (IQWiG) in Cologne, Germany. Her research focus is on the further development of methodological principles of information retrieval and screening in systematic reviews.
