Presenter Bio

Dr. Riaz Qureshi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. In 2021, he completed his PhD in Epidemiology at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Riaz's research focuses on evidence synthesis and clinical trials methods and meta-research in general. He is particularly interested in the methods used to investigate harms of interventions at different levels of evidence: from adverse events collected and reported in clinical trials to the synthesis of harms in systematic reviews.
