This is a collection of resources compiled for the 'A day with... GRADEing Methods Group' virtual event on 18 November 2020.

All the resources listed below are freely accessible at any time before, during and after the event. Additionally, we are offering special free access to the Cochrane Interactive Learning module 7: Interpreting the findings and module 8: Reporting the review, from November 4th until December 2nd 2020 (see section below).


Cochrane Handbook

The Cochrane Handbook for Systematic Reviews of Interventions is the official guide that describes in detail the process of preparing and maintaining Cochrane systematic reviews on the effects of healthcare interventions.


GRADE Handbook

This is the most comprehensive resource on the GRADE approach and deals with both the use of GRADE in systematic reviews and its application in the guideline development process.


Cochrane Interactive Learning

Module 7: Interpreting the findings 

Part of the Cochrane Interactive Learning course on conducting an intervention review, this module explains how to interpret the findings of your review. In this module you will learn how to interpret the results of your statistical analysis, reporting bias, and use the GRADE approach to judging and reporting on the certainty of evidence. The module was freely available from November 4th until December 2nd 2020. Click here for more info about the course registration and subscription options.

Module 8: Reporting the review 

Part of the Cochrane Interactive Learning course on conducting an intervention review, this module covers the expected process to follow in reporting your review. This module teaches you how to create ‘Summary of findings’ tables, writing up your results, how to discuss evidence and draw conclusions, and the different summary formats of a Cochrane review. The module was freely available from November 4th until December 2nd 2020. Click here for more info about the course registration and subscription options.

The website of the GRADEing Methods Group includes information about the group, a list of projects and publications, training and other resources, and information about GRADEpro GDT software. 


GRADE collection on Cochrane Training

A collection of resources on GRADE approach includes a series of introductory screencasts on GRADE approach, guidance on incorporating GRADE in Cochrane Reviews, an online learning module on common errors in using GRADE, a series of videos explaining the use of GRADEpro GDT software, the link to GRADE Handbook, and the links to GRADE guidelines articles published in the Journal of Clinical Epidemiology.
