2.6 Copyright and records marked for publication in CENTRAL

Records in your register that are marked for publication will be published in CENTRAL in the Cochrane Library. We do not have blanket permission to republish all material gained from all bibliographic databases, or from other print and electronic media (e.g. conference proceedings). You can publish basic bibliographic citations but unless a record has been sourced from MEDLINE or through the Evidence Pipeline Centralised Search project, the abstracts will be automatically removed as part of the publication process. You can store abstract information in your own Specialised Register (subject to local copyright restrictions).

Data obtained from regulatory databases and trials registers, eg the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) website, the European Medicines Agency (EMA) website, and ClinicalTrials.gov may be published in CENTRAL, as this information is already in the public domain.
